Course Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree (16 years of education or equivalent, 180–240 ECTS) in Linguistics, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Information Technology, Cognitive Science, Psychology, Mathematics, or related disciplines.
  • Basic understanding of language structure (grammar, semantics, or linguistics concepts preferred).
  • Foundational knowledge of programming and data analysis (Python preferred).
  • Statement of Purpose (SOP) outlining academic and career objectives.
  • Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV).
  • English language proficiency (IELTS, TOEFL, or equivalent), where applicable.

    Mode of Learning


    The School of Languages follows a blended learning model, combining:

    Despite its flexible learning environment, the school maintains a rigorous assessment and evaluation system comparable to that of conventional higher education institutions.

    Students enjoy complete flexibility to study at their own pace, time, and location. Language programs are offered across Taaleem Foundation facilities as well as Innoversity campuses, providing opportunities to participate in a wide range of academic and cultural activities.

    Student Exchange Program


    Through our European academic partners, eligible students have the opportunity to participate in international exchange programs and study on campus in Switzerland.


    Students wishing to spend one or more semesters in Switzerland are encouraged to study French, the primary language spoken in Geneva, to facilitate academic and cultural integration.




    Dissertation / Teaching Practice


    During the final semester, students are required to complete either:


    * A dissertation based on original research, or

    * A supervised teaching practice.


    The teaching practice option is offered upon recommendation by the Head of Department and approval from Innoversity and the respective European academic partners.


    Master's Degree in Computational Linguistics


    Bachelor's Degree in Cross-Cultural Communication or Interpretation, followed by advanced study in:


    * Natural Language Processing (NLP)

    * Machine Learning

    * Artificial Intelligence

    * Language Technologies

    * AI-powered language applications

    Course Outcomes

    Upon successful completion of the MS in Computational Linguistics, graduates will be able to:

    1. Demonstrate advanced understanding of linguistic theory and computational language models.
    2. Design and develop natural language processing (NLP) systems for text and speech applications.
    3. Apply machine learning and deep learning techniques to language-related problems.
    4. Build and evaluate language models for tasks such as translation, classification, and generation.
