The Master of Science (MS) in Climate Change and Disaster Management is an interdisciplinary graduate program designed to prepare students to understand, analyze, and manage the growing risks associated with climate change and natural disasters.
The program integrates climate science, environmental studies, disaster risk reduction (DRR), emergency management, and geospatial technologies to develop professionals capable of designing resilient systems and effective response strategies.
Students learn how climate change influences the frequency and intensity of disasters such as floods, heatwaves, earthquakes, droughts, storms, and sea-level rise. The program also emphasizes disaster preparedness, mitigation planning, emergency response, and recovery management using modern tools such as GIS, remote sensing, data analytics, and risk modeling.
